Teenagers who frequently use smartphones and other digital devices, are more at risk of attention-deficit or hyper-active disorder (ADHD) problems. A recent study has found the issue.

ADHD is a disorder of the brain, in which the symptoms are of a kind of concentration, supernatural behavior and tenderness, which can interfere with efficiency and development. This information was given in a report by PTI.

The study article was published in the Journal of the American Medical Association magazine. It focuses on the effect of mental health on all types of digital music, including social media, video streaming, text messaging, downloading music, online chat with new generation.

The study was conducted under the leadership of Adam Livental, professor of the University of Southern California in the United States.

Livental said that this was done long ago. Social networking sites, mobile phones, tabs or mobile apps did not exist. Now mobile technology has been giving a high level of enthusiasm for the day. Now more than the previous research, the digital media has become more open.

As a result of this research, parents, school authorities, technology companies and doctors will get the opportunity to be aware of additional use of the technology.

In 10 schools in Los Angeles County, researchers conduct research with 4000 students aged 15 to 16 years old. Researchers have been watching children for two years. Researchers see, those who have used regular digital media platforms have had their new ADHD symptoms. However, those who are not regular in digital media, the risk of ADHD is less.

Researchers Livental said, "The teenagers who use the digital media at a higher level, we are sure they can have their ADHD in the future."
